error: Package ‘codon-0.16.1’ in /nix/store/52idjh4nq40nc186n9s7cybj23a7bxkh-source/pkgs/development/compilers/codon/default.nix:136 has an unfree license (‘bsl11’), refusing to evaluate.
a) To temporarily allow unfree packages, you can use an environment variable
for a single invocation of the nix tools.
$ export NIXPKGS_ALLOW_UNFREE=1
Note: When using `nix shell`, `nix build`, `nix develop`, etc with a flake,
then pass `--impure` in order to allow use of environment variables.
b) For `nixos-rebuild` you can set
{ nixpkgs.config.allowUnfree = true; }in configuration.nix to override this.
Alternatively you can configure a predicate to allow specific packages:
{ nixpkgs.config.allowUnfreePredicate = pkg: builtins.elem (lib.getName pkg) ["codon"
];
}
c) For `nix-env`, `nix-build`, `nix-shell` or any other Nix command you can add
{ allowUnfree = true; }to ~/.config/nixpkgs/config.nix.

You can install it anyway by allowing this package, using the
following methods:
a) To temporarily allow all insecure packages, you can use an environment
variable for a single invocation of the nix tools:
$ export NIXPKGS_ALLOW_INSECURE=1
Note: When using `nix shell`, `nix build`, `nix develop`, etc with a flake,
then pass `--impure` in order to allow use of environment variables.
b) for `nixos-rebuild` you can add ‘freeimage-3.18.0-unstable-2024-04-18’ to
`nixpkgs.config.permittedInsecurePackages` in the configuration.nix,
like so:
{nixpkgs.config.permittedInsecurePackages = [
"freeimage-3.18.0-unstable-2024-04-18"
];
}
c) For `nix-env`, `nix-build`, `nix-shell` or any other Nix command you can add
‘freeimage-3.18.0-unstable-2024-04-18’ to `permittedInsecurePackages` in
~/.config/nixpkgs/config.nix, like so:
{permittedInsecurePackages = [
"freeimage-3.18.0-unstable-2024-04-18"
];
}
